Was in Aransas Pass on a fishing trip and saw this beautiful MES 30 at Lowes rescue shelter. Filled out the paper work and $200
and brought it home to live.
Save some for me Al. Camper is still on my truck. I'll hook up the boat in the morning and set off. The heck with this weather!

I'm feeling for ya, often windy where I'm at. I built my house to block to block the wind
but when it blows it swirls pretty good. It's still tough with charc/wood smoker. Took me
a long time to do ribs this late winter because of the swirling winds [maybe being a
newbie too]. Bought a MES to...

Sun is shining now. Most should be gone today I hope. Temp. right now is
35 degrees. Smoking shrimp later today. Sure am glad I brought that MES...
Thanks ladies for the ideas. I think tonight I'm going to use TheBarbeQueens
suggestion for my friends with an applewood smoke. But I can tell you it won't
be long before I make that N.O. style that you've given to me cowgirl.
Seeing those pics makes me want to whip some up right NOW. Lucky...
Brought 10lbs. home from the Texas coast. Plan to smoke some for friends tommorrow night. Doing shell on, do you think they should be brined before smoking to help
keep them moist. Boy do I like this MES, it makes it so easy to smoke stuff in the cooler
weather we're having. It snowed...
