    I like Alton but the man knows nothing about preparing/eating artichokes. To get a smoke ring in a watt burner without TQ just add a briquette or two to your chip tray while smoking.

    Thanks, it really sucks when I'm at work because our firewall blocks almost all the pics posted on this forum so I don't get the luxury of seeing them. I'd say give it a try just to see if you like it. It is a tried and true method and the only one I use anymore.

    With mine if I have 250 at lid I have around 260 on the top rack and 270ish on the bottom. The closer to the fire the hotter.
