    Thanks for posting this! I love kebabs, but never had much success with grilling then. I remember that episode, and liked his kebab setup, where he has a shallow trench lined with sand and bricks around the edge. Toss in some charcoal and go from there. Seems like a better way to do 'em too.

    Will do! One of the "conditions" for getting another was to sell the "old" one. I still have my trusty gas grill for things that need a quicker prep.

    Glad it arrived ok. The chili fixins is from a 'mom and pop' operation in Mazatlan Mexico. Just 1 of the 2 packets will do wonders for about a gallon of chili with just a lil bite. Hope ya like it

    Welcome to SMF LGHT! Good luck in the final choice. I had considered all types within my "allowance" from the missus, and now wish I had gone with one of my other options in the first place. Sounds like ya got enough for the smoker, a fine smoke and a pallet of charcoal to get ya started.

    FINISHING SAUCE (for Pulled Pork)

    I've gone with whats called for in the OP with a 7.5# butt and it seems to be enough. I would think doubling would be fine for 2 butts. Just make a bit more than what ya think is enough and adjust to taste. Any leftover sauce can wait till the next smoke.
