You cannot go wrong with a kettle,I remeber my grampa cooking on one when I was just a little tike,I know a lot of people with them and they love them!I got my first one about 4 years ago,holding up great.
Good looking jerky.I really enjoy deer jerky.The way my father inlaw hunts I have like an endless supply of deer meat.I will be making some real soon here myself.

Well I took erains advice and these are silver maples I have.I also found a site that shows leaf descriptions of the different species.Still good to use though huh?

Quick question here.I trimmed some of my maple trees over the weekend,and have some wood from them.I am not sure what type of maple tree it is,are all maples good for smoking?Thanks again guys.

This is close to how I usually make them.Never tried them with crushed tomato,or sausage.I have some smoked polish that me and my father inlaw made over the summer maybe I'll give it a try,thanks again.Have a great weekend!
