Hooooly Toledo. I searched 3-4 times and never found that. I was in the 'smokers' area and clicked 'Cebelas' brand and nothing. It's in the 'grills' area. Sure glad you folks fixed my wagon - thank you! I think I might feed the beast on this item.
Has that darn window. Hate that.
I know there are many Camp Chef owners here and I'm looking at getting a DLX model. Just wondering, are they reliable after a few years? I know the controller isn't the best - not sure it needs to be, but I would want it to stay functional for more than 3 years without having to rebuild it...
I have no clue why the other isn't copying the same. Comes through as a media file for some reason. Just search Camp Chef PG24DLX on Amazon.
If you click back and forth on two different tabs, you'd swear they're the same model - except for the bronze coloring, but who cares about that for...
Sorry, previously posted in the wrong area. Reposted here:
From what I can see on their website and Amazon, these two units are about $140 apart. For the SP-DLX, you get 1. a pellet dump....2. different legs (zero benefit) and that's it. Wondering if I'm missing something?? How is adding a...

Can't figure the difference between that and the SmokePro XT. There's a $100 difference. Wonder why? They seem identical.
BTW: CONGRATS! I'm about to pull the trigger myself.
Third time's a charm! Well, I changed three things: 1. Raised the temp to 325°, 2. brined only 12 hrs with the appropriate ratio and 3. dumped white wine into the bottom of the trays.
WOW. Turkey was very flavorful, juicy, excellent smoke and wine flavors and the gravy is soooooo much...
I'm a little concerned about this issue that's well discussed. Seems the unit depends a being sealed and smoldering the wood, as opposed to others. Lack of a vent has been written about many times
So beware you Smokin-It owners and potential owners. You may very well have leakage around your...
I'm thinking of this unit myself but I saw this review here on SMF. Makes sense and gives me concern. What do you think about this?

My biggest concern with the unit however (and I have used mine...
Problem is my MES only goes to 275°. Thinking of using my AMNPS in my gas grill but not sure if it'll stay lit. I guess that's something else I need to go check.
Sarge, never seen those. Wow, they look great. I was settled on a Camp Chef Smoke Pro but know I'd like to seriously consider this Smokin-It. What else do you like/dislike about it?
Don't intend to hijack the thread. I figured my question is inline with the OP's question.
