My first build - 120 gallon tank

I would like to thank you all for the response from my questions.  I have had a week from hell at work and just rolled in the door, I plan on a few hours of sleep and do a little work on the smoker.  My son (9 years old) has taken a liking to working with me so I think this project might need a...

My first build - 120 gallon tank

Not sure if I broke some forum etiquette I was not aware of.  I was looking for some advice before I start my project and after lurking here for the last year I have seen some great advice in many, many posts. I have learned a tremendous amount reading here but was looking for a few more...

Would it make a difference if I cut the FB from the bottom or the top of the tank? Thanks, Joe

    Tank sizes

Hiya all. Gonna start my smoker build. I have a small tank 100lb propane to experiment with but was looking for a bigger tank for my "real" smoker. Looking at the reverse flow design. I was gonna buy a Lang but figured it would be more fun to make one myself. Question I have is, how do I know...

    Lang deluxe or not

Thanks for the input Chef JimmyJ.  I think that the deluxe is in my future.  I do not do competition, just backyard with groups ranging from my family of 4 to upwards of 40.  I am also building an outdoor kitchen so in the grand scheme a few hundred $$$ is not much. Thanks, Joe

    Lang deluxe or not

I am going to buy a Lang 36 hybrid but do not know if I want the deluxe model with the warmer.  I can see me using it but not sure of the additional cost $300.  Any thoughts, anyone have a deluxe and want to comment? Thanks, Joe

Thanks for the warm welcome. Just as a point of reference I did not get the smoker yet. I still want to call lang about a few details like making it left handed as it will fit into the outdoor kitchen plans I am building this summer. It will be a great one with tons of great q and grilling.

Gonna save a bit on shipping them together. Just wanted to say hi, I have been trolling the site for the last month...
