    I'm right there with ya.  I'd like to get into some am comp action but my skills will be seriously trumped at an event like that for sure.  I suppose the only way is up after getting drummed by the pit masters that claim to be amateurs haha

    Since I'm using the mini, I had to use a rack to hold all the ribs. Unsure how the finish product will turn out. They're touching in places and I hope it doesn't hurt my smoke ring or make the IT inconsistent. Anyone used these rib racks on the mini?
