These are about half the suckers I did last spring. I used the recipie that rbranstner mentioned above. They turned out well, but lots of bones to pick through.
That dowel was bent way more then i remember, we may have to buy the bigger ones from now on. it looks like its ready to break in the picture. Im glad it didn't. That would have been a waste.

I just made some last night. I glazed with brown sugar and honey and they turned out awesome. It took about 45 minutes at 250 to get them up to 160. Mine were about a half inch thick.
My personal favorite is a buffalo chicken fattie. cream cheese, shredded chicken, buffalo wing sauce, blue cheese, and shredded cheddar rolled out on spicy jimmy dean sausage. It normally doesnt last long.
My buddies and I have recently shot around 50 geese. Looking to try and smoke some of them. Have any of you ever done this. Any suggestions or recipes would be great. Thanks in advance.
that sounds great for and ABT. Havent tried it like that but I have done this recipe with a fattie. It is now one of my favorites. I do at least one every time I smoke now.
