Congratulations as well Goin on my 5th here, myself. I've found that of all the hobbies, toys etc. that I've had to really convince the wife on, getting a smoker and doin my onw Q is the one thing she has not questioned, or regretted for that matter.- mr porky

Dilemma!
If theres still work to do, then beer or a Rum&coke is the order. Once all the work is done, its time to relax and enjoy the time to do so with a good scotch. About 3 hours worth! I dunno, but when I woke up around 9 I found this: I felt bad cause I slept on the couch thinking I wouldn't sleep longer than if I was in bed, but I go out see its almost time to foil. I took the time to get some more coals ready and by the time that was done the temp... -

Try it either way and go with what works best. My first attempt didn't produce the results I had expected but the next batch, while still not perfect, was more enjoyable and gave me an idea of where to make improvements. Good luck! -

Sounds good so far. I had pretty much the same issue with my first. I let it rest an hour before pulling and it turned out fine. Letting it rest longer wrapped in a towel in a cooler I've read would be better, but when ya gotta eat, well a man's gotta eat! Keep us posted -
