    I tried that once, it didn't pull apart very well cold. Wish I would have reheated on low wrapped in foil then pulled it.

    Yeah Dave, we talked about the barrelman yesterday while smoking. he would have liked it! BTW, I'm a golden buffalo, no green and gold in my house!

    The casters are 3" swivels casters with locks. We cut a circle out of 3/4" MDF, attached the casters then screwed through the barrel to attach the MDF disc. I don't have a picture of that today but I will PM you one this week.

    We went with Duplicolor High Heat Engine paint (per DDave) ford blue and chevy orange along with 2 coats of clear coat.

    I seasoned mine a couple weeks ago with 10lbs+- of Kingsford and 5 chunks of hickory keeping temps around 250 for 14 hours.

    The vinyl work is attached to heavy duty sheet magnets and they held up great, we smoked the birds at 300-325 and had no issues.

    7-Bone Roast

    Funny you ask that, I'm cooking 2 6lb 7bone roasts right now! I actually prefer the taste of the 7bone because of the bone marrow involved. I just pulled from the smoker (Hickory/Cherry) and wrapped them in the oven at 225. Here are a couple preliminary pics, I'll post finished after dinner.
