I learned a lot on this board about Cryovac type units and purchased a Foodsaver last weekend. OMG family loves it.
My next purchase is a slicer so I can smoke a buttload of meat for the family's lunches. Please chime in!!
My decals are attached to sheet magnets that I purchased from Michaels.
You can get 1' x 2' sheet of magnet w/ adhesive on one side for $9.99.
I only keep them on there for game days, don't want sauce, marinade and smoke on them for everyday cooking!
I cooked on my fathers wsm for years and loved it but my new UDS is so much more fuel efficient!
If you don't like the flavor of the drippings on the coals you could make the huge investment of $7 and add a drip pan (picture below) or do like DDave and cover your basket with steel plate...

You definitely found the right site, there are many big brains on smoking here.
This is just my personal opinion but I would go with a Butt.
My family prefers the texture, flavor and juiciness with the Butt.

The pan I got at Walmart for $5, the 1/4x20 bolts at Home Depot for $.89 and 4 lock nuts at the bottom.
A few weeks ago I posted some pics of my buddy Messy's Denver Bronco UDS we built together and plan to use for tailgating.
Well, mine is finally finished! I christened it a couple days ago with 2 8lb butts. Came out perfect. Sorry no qview on that.
So here it is, ready for the spring game next...
