    What did you generally use to fuel your lang.  Ive been told its takes a lot of fuel to heat up a lang since they are quarter inch steel and have a reverse flow baffle.  Any truth to that from your perspective?

    Wow.......Thanks for the response. The lang does look impressive!  It looks like he uses wood splits for the fire.  I generally use lump charcoal for heat with some apple wood chunks added for some smoke.  Do you know if the lang 36 would heat up enough using lump charcoal or is lump charcoal...

    Can you primarily use lump charcoal for heat  with some wood chunks added for smoking, or do you have to use small wood splits to generate sufficient heat.

    Do you currently have a meadow creek SQ 36?   Im trying to decide between buying a SQ 36 or an American bbq Systems - all star.  Any recommedations from users of either of these.  Strickly for backyard use. mike

    Has anyone had experience on the All Star smoker made by American BBQ Systems.  Im trying to decide whether to buy an all star or a Meadow Creek SQ- 36.   Any help would be appreciated.
