I think Hank was thinking you were using the recipe on page 345 "Dried Sausage Sticks" instead of the "Kabanosy" on page 355. I was thinking the same thing myself....
Thanks Ron - I also just read that some people have had issue's with the electronics being outdoors in the cold. Do you store yours inside when not in use in the winter?

Mule - Been using one for awhile now - Formerly is right: The only problem I have had is the cost of the bisquettes. Your looking at about $40-$45 for 120 and each one is 20 minutes. No other problems than that - Mine has always fed correctly. If your going that route I would highly recommend...
