    that is EXACTLY the same thing i was going to make a smoker gen. out of!!!  a big old martini shaker.  nice to see it works!!  how long does the smoke last with it the way you have it now???

    maybe stupid question....asking anyway

    i have alot of metal 5 gallon buckets here at work that used to hold lacquer thinner.  if i burn out the inside inside of the bucket will it be safe to make a cold smoke generator out of ???  i know alot of guys here are using old propane tanks, so it might work fine.  let me know.

    Hello to all, just signed up.  this is the coolest forum i have ever seen!!!  i love everything about smoking meats and making sausages.  SO MUCH good info to be seen here!!! hope to be posting quite often!!!
