On the way back to my folk's house, I came across yet another "Grand opening" This bunch had the whole hog on a spit. The smell was out of this world and was drawing folks in from several blocks away (INCLUDING ME)

Shortly after arriving back in Germany I had to seek out my first "Bratwurst" of the trip. (There were several more) It's about the same as Americans returning back to the States after a long absence and seeking out their favorite hamburger.

I have a Black & Decker (I think it's made by food saver) The only problem I have with the darn thing is that it will not let you just "seal" a bag. You have to wait the whole vacume cycle before it seals the bag. But hay... It was nice and shiny chrome when I bought it!!!
