    Ash Pan for UDS

    get yourself a large pizza pan. walmart, dollar store...ect. drill a 1/4 inch hole in the center install a 1/4x1-1/2" eye bolt with a nut on top and bottom of the pan. use a hook to pull out ash pan.

    Got my first drum!

    I'm sure you already know this but even unlined / new drums have a thin film in the drum so it doesn't rust. make sure you wash that bad ride out.

    wood chunk question for you drum smokers

    When using my uds I like to use 4 large pieces of wood I a range the wood so that the wood will catch and smolder at diffrent times of the smoking process. I will leave one piece of wood at the very bottom of the basket, then two pieces half way up the basket on either side. Finally I put one...
