    Looking for a thermo

Just got my Maverick ET-73. It's pretty much the standard around here as far as I can tell. It is a remote dual temp therm, 1 for the chamber and 1 for the meat. The receiver travels with you up to 100', and has alarms for both meat and chamber temperature.

    Best slaw for PP sandwiches???

I go simple.....If I'm in a rush I grab a bag of mixed cabbage, but fresh is better. I use some of my (Sloflaque's) finishing sauce, add a bit of raw sugar, some chili powder, S&P mix and let sit in the fridge for an hour or two. I'm not a fan of mayo/creamy slaws.

I don't know who it was, but somebody was running a shop that closed down a couple of years ago. He was at the Howard Johnson, then somewhere by the library. It might benefit you to track him down, and find out why his failed. Also there is a guy that runs a shack at the go kart / batting...

    BBQ tour for research

Absolutely. I'm going to have a bunch of reposts going up in the next few days, so you can see some of the stuff I've done. I had a ton of stuff get wiped off of here after the site crashed last year, and I really haven't gotten to active in the community since then.

    Who has a kegerator?

I'm pretty sure that I posted this in here before, but it was before the great crash of '09, when I lost about 30 threads. So here are a couple pics of my baby. I went all out when I built this thing. Each tap is running on its own regulator, and 1 for the main tank. I can run either 3...

    Best Lump Charcoal

For the longest time, all I could get was Cowboy (Lowes and HD). Then the Kingsford brand became available here, and I liked it. RO is finally being carried at the Walmart here, and I pretty much switched to it exclusively. IMO Cowboy is garbage, and I have better results with regular old...
