UDS Build Off???? Who's interested?
welding is just another tool like screws or rivets. why is it so unfair? for example - if you need to install a hinge and it's welded as opposed to riveted, you're out of the contest? what's the difference? i don't have a rivet gun; does that mean that riveting is not allowed? just playing the...- guvna

pinkmeat said it right. try taking out the tuning plate and bend that baffle out at a 45 degree angle. you'll probably use less fuel as well.- guvna

Vertical vs. offset
hi all, i've been seriously considering a chargriller offset b/c there's just soooo much more room to cook on than the ol' ecb. my question is; how much more propane do you think it would take to run @ 250? i'm thinking about 3 to 4 times as much. do you think it would be worth it? that is to...- guvna

is this a good thermometer
it looks pretty good. but you'll need two of them b/c there's no second probe to check your smoker temps. the ET-73 is about the same price and it specifically designed for a smoker. go get one right now...- guvna
