Ever just "Throw a little smoke on it"?

I gotcha now Sisco. I also like to use lump charcoal as well for some extra flavor on burgers. The last time I used coals under the food grates in my chargriller, I felt like it "unseasoned" my cast iron grates. Almost like it got too hot and all that seasoning burnt off. Have you found...

Ever just "Throw a little smoke on it"?

I use charcoal when grilling, I do like BA LoKo and throw in some hickory to the coals. My propane grill has been abandoned ever since I found a nice Kingsford kettle grill for cheap. I love watching the guy on "licensed to grill" he adds smoke on his propane grill all the time ....... he loves...

Curious - newbies, what thread/post hooked you?

I can remember back when I first started lurking, the original thing that hooked me was the mod's for my chargriller, I didnt know I could make it better. I figured I'd join so I didnt miss any other hints. The thing that kept me here was a few friendships that quickly developed by using the...

    Speed Brisket...w/a view

Hey Kool-Aid! You smell like a big turd. That kind of criticism? Looks good to me, cant see any reason for criticism on the smoke. Did it pass the family test? Brisket has gotten pricey here, havent done one since late summer .

Something disturbing in my grocery store....

I know whatcha mean! Here is a link to my buddy, Smoked's, attempt earlier in the spring to make liquid smoke himself. Once I corrected him on which way his bowl should have been positioned he said it worked much better. http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/for...t=condensation

Well, I was unable to attend the reception. I sent the food with my wife along with buns and a bottle of store bought BBQ sauce. She warmed it up in the oven and set it out. My wife said everyone was raving about the pork .......... best part about it was that she said the bottle of BBQ sauce...

Hawg, I've been meaning to do a few of your mods to my old rust bucket. I need to do the wiring gromet mod ASAP, and then the monster truck tire mod next! I have some fire blanket insulation coming to make a form fitted jacket vs using the bulky moving quilt, I'll post pics of that when its...

Two Butts & A Picinic (Indoors)

I have a high, unfinished ceiling and luckly the wind is sucking the TBS out vs blowing it in. Every now & then the wind reverses and blows leaves in, but all in all I've been very lucky with the smoke.

Insurance adjusters; please dont read any further! Today I have been smoking in the opening of my garage door. There is lots of cold wind and sportatic rain so I moved out of the elements & closer to the TV & beer fridge. I am using charcoal and maple splits. I have been throwing the moving...

    Other Hobbies

I love to GoFish, kayak & camp. The ideal situation is combining all 3 activities on the Sheanadoah River. Me & the fellas load up our Kayaks with as much gear as we can hold, fish all day, set up camp, eat like kings, re-tell the same stories as last year and ***** about not doing this enough!
