I take them and grease them up after washing. I'll put in the oven. Next time I have to bake something I preheat the oven for about a half hour then I'll take the pan out. I'm killing two birds with one stone. Lol
I don't cook them for that long either. I feel like they come out too mushy. We prefer that our ribs have a slight pull. (I'm a Yankee lol). I actually don't even wrap them. Mine go on the smoker for about 4 hours. I start saucing them the last hour every 20 minutes or so.

It depends on what you reheating. For ribs I'll put the whole rack uncut in the deep catering tray and maybe a 1/2 cup of water and cover in heavy duty aluminum foil and put the oven on...
Hi if I may suggest that I know there's a video on YouTube where a guy put an alkaline battery in a bucket of water. (Not exactly sure but more in those lines) If you do a search on how to rid cast iron of rust I think you find it. Little or no elbow grease involved lol. Hope this helps.
