    When I make the onions, I cut the bacon in half lengthwise. That makes wrapping a whole lot easier. I'll do that on ABTs as well. I'd still eat those!

    Central Minnesota we got rain, then snow, then more rain, then snow and wind. Plowing with the wheeler was a treat! Heavy sloppy mess, couldn't push in a straight line.

    I've been doing Keto for the last two and a half years due to Type 2 diabetes. Didn't realize it was keto until a Dr. friend of mine told me that's what I've been doing. Down somewhere in the neighborhood of 60-70 pounds. stalled out here the last year, but dang it's nice to not get winded tying...

    Smoking in cold weather

    I'm a couple hours north of you, smoke all winter long. My vertical charcoal smoker I just built a brick surround for it to break the wind. My off-set wood burner just uses more wood. Coldest I've ever checked the temp for was 17 below zero. Sure if done it colder, just didn't pay attention.

    I used an old frying pan the same diameter for a water pan in one of my old Brinkmans. Just removed the handle.

    We have done fish for Christmas as far back as anyone can remember, never even thought about it being a Catholic thing. We are Austrian and German decent, so it makes sense. Also catholic.
