Country Ribs and Drumsticks on New Pellet Grill (Q-view)

Hi Todd - There was a hint of smokiness but I only cooked for about a half hour at 180 before turning up the heat. Definitely, a different flavor than using the gas grill and/or charcoal - you can tell that it was cooked on wood. Of course I think there are a LOT more cooking experiments in the...

Country Ribs and Drumsticks on New Pellet Grill (Q-view)

So bought an IPT pellet grill that was delivered yesterday - new company but gave 'em a shot based on a nice review on another forum, Unit came fully assembled including shipping and was already tested with an initial burn in. Seems pretty solid so far. Didn't have time to an extended smoke or...

    First time Chuckie's

I've done a few chuckies now which have gone over great with the crowd. For a rub I used sea salt, coarse black pepper, garlic powder, thyme, and paprika. I injected with a mixture of beer and worcestershire and spritzed with beer. Foiled at 160 and took to 190 for slicing. Smoked at about...

    Couple of Chuckies (Q-view)

Thanks guys - one tip I picked up from the forum was using a pan to catch the drippings which really makes a difference. I think it was almost better the next day as sandwiches!

    Couple of Chuckies (Q-view)

Smoked these for dinner last Sunday - injected wit a mix of beer, A1, and worcestershire. Rubbed with salt, black pepper, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika and smoked with oak about 7 hours. Mopped with beer along the way. Came very good. The next day with the leftovers made some...

    Brisket and Chuck with Qview

That happened to me on the 4th! I didn't get of the 2 chuckies I made - luckily there was plenty of pulled pork and ribs to make up for it! BTW - nice job - the brisket and chuckie look great!

    Chuckie Questions

I've done a few chuckies now and have injected the night before but for the rub I didn't use mustard on the chuckies - just olive oil. Also let it marinade overnight in what I inject with (Mixture of beer, worcestershire, and a little A1) Rubbed with garlic powder, salt, pepper, thyme, and...
