    tenderloin?

I was tempted to take mine off at 150, since we were getting hungry and all, but decided to leave it for the extra 5. Next time I will probably take it off at 150, to see if it will turn out even better.

    Beef Shoulder Clod

    tenderloin?

I just smoked my first tenderloin last weekend. It was a little over 4.5 lbs, and was already marinated in the cryo-vac packaging, so marinating might be a good option. I laid 4 to 5 strips of bacon on top and spritzed about every hour. Must have been in the pit a little over 5 hours. I...

    Late, 1st Q-View

Everything turned out better than I expected, but I still need to keep "practicing" if ya know what I mean. "Practicing" sounds much better to my wife than hanging out outside drinkin' beer and watching meat smoke for several hours, while she cleans house!

    Late, 1st Q-View

I got my new Char-Griller seasoned yesterday morning, so I had to put some meat on. We had a garlic and onion pork tenderloin and a tri-tip just beggin' to get smoked. I think both turned out excellent, but then again I would be a little biased. Bacon on top of the tenderloin and sal, pepper...

Looking for a decent store baught sauce...

My wife went to Wal-Mart and found this one, although I don't think she got the spicy. It was a little sweet, but still good for store bought. We have a BBQ place here called Rudy's that has good sauce. I bought it a few times, but I didn't have the time to drive out and get it yesterday...

Looking for a decent store baught sauce...

Thanks again for all the suggestions. Just sent my wife to the store for a couple of things, will see if any of the above mentioned sauces are available.

Looking for a decent store baught sauce...

The kraft is a little too sweet for me, but thanks for the suggestion. Never made my own sauce. This is something I would like to try, but I just don't have the time today. I'm getting ready to put some meat on, and my wife already has a few "chores" for me before company gets over here...

Looking for a decent store baught sauce...

I need to find a good store bought sauce, but I don't want a sweet sauce. I would prefer something spicy/peppery. Any suggestions? Thanks

    New Char-Griller

Thanks for the tips, agmeyer. I am already thinking about extending the stack and creating some sort of baffle for now. When I get more time I will probably work on improving the smoke box and maybe adding tuning plates.
