It can be the best you've ever had!
This is how I do it too, but I take it rarer to 130 and then let rest for 1/2 hour (after I cut off a piece for my mother and put it on a gas grill to get medium-well).
I think that cherry wood is key also. If you don't have that, be gentle with the harder...
Thanks!
My first thought was . Then it was!
Then my next thought is...
Gotta' Try It! My wife and I love jalapeno jelly and have some in the fridge. The downside is that we don't have any more blueberry fatty left, and won't between now and Christmas.
Maybe I can make it for New Years!
If...
Those are nice ones! I started some from seeds in the kitchen window, gave them a bunch of love and stuff, planted them in the garden about the same time you did, and now....several weeks later....I have a plant about 3 inches higher than it was in my kitchen and turning that "old" reddish look...
WOW! Thank you Paul for the nomination and Dude for the second.
I've learned SO much here over the last year or so and consider all of you a part of my life now.

That's some good looking jerky! Just finish sealing that box and while you're doing that I'll PM you with my address.
for already having the box loaded and waiting to mail to me!
Just water for me too although I've tried some other things like beer but I didn't really notice any difference and decided I'd rather drink it!
I still do put in several fresh sprigs of rosemary when I'm doing turkey. I don't know if it helps the flavor, but wow, the smell that comes out...
