I just sold my 1998 12 Jayco UDST. Just like yours except it had a front storage compartment. Great trailer. Pulls like a dream and never had a bit of trouble with any of it. Hope you have tons of enjoyment out of it.
Ruski, sounds like the probe might have either gotten wet or touched flame/hot metal. Either way, odds are that probe is toast. I've had two die on me like that. Both my fault. Hope this isn't the case because you'll not be able to use it nor get one shipped to you in time for the weekend...
THis very well might be it. I saw a clip of it on youtube. The particular scene that I was thinking of wasn't in the clip, but it did seem familiar. I'll see if I can find it this between now and this weekend.
Thanks folks. Oh btw, that list on IMDB had some other possibilities too. Once...
I've scoured IMDB with every plot description I can come up with. No luck whatsoever. I wish I knew at least an actor or any kind of helpful info. I"m at a loss, but I sure would like to know the name of the movie. It's more of a 'gotta know' than any thing else.
This is mostly for Rich and the rest of them Wings fans, but might I suggest this (I have one just like it already and I"m a pretty big guy myself)

No one remembers this?? Out of all you old (like me) farts?? :) I figured for sure someone on here would remember this. Only time I can remember I've been let down on this forum. Sheesh. Sorry, this was the only way I could think of to bump it one more time :)
No, I don't think this ever hit the big screen. Seems like it was a made for tv Weekend special or some such. Came on once or twice a year for several years.
I know this is a smoking forum, but I'm at wits end. I'm trying to remember a movie title from a movie I remember watching as a young boy (sometime in the mid to late 70's). The plot was something like this:
The story was told mostly in flashback. The main character was a young boy and his...
This is the only one that I'm aware of.

Does sound like a lot of fun. He offers Dutch oven cooking classes as well.
My father bought one down in West Texas. He likes it so far. First gasser for him, he's always had 'my' 50" Texas Tanks off-set. I gave him some tips from my own usage of the GOSM. Said he's made some quality eats so far. Much easier than the SFB. Build quality is fair to good. Said he...
Welcome to SMF, great group of folks here.
Couple of side questions for you (and your mom). With the bankruptcy, are they continuing to produce GOSM's and Vermont Castings stuff? It's getting pretty hard to find a GOSM around here (Denver). Did they just restructure the debt or are they...
Mike,
I grew up in Sweetwater! You're right in the heart of Mesquite country. There are a couple of decent good ol' boy cookin contests that take place around that area. 1) is the Rattlesnake Roundup in March, and 2) Stephenville usually has a couple every summer. Not saying you need to...
I would think you'd get by with the 'peaceable journey' laws most states have. Don't have to lock it up, but it can't be concealed. I very well could be wrong though.
there are some of us who grill too. I also have a grill that's a little out of your price range (Vermont Castings VCS-5016) from a company that just went bankrupt (VC is owned by CFM who also makes the GOSM). That being said, the webber stuff is awesome and you should be able to find something...
Yep, I would think as long as you can avoid the direct heat (water bowl or some other barrier) and get smoke out of patches, it should work fine. I've got a 5 burner Vermont Castings (left to right burners), and fired up the far end and put a tri-tip on the other end, came out as good or better...
I'd love to see your design. Also, there are double walled versions of the GOSM sold by Vermont Castings (double the walls, double the price). But I'd think any kind of fireproof 'stuffing' should work.
