    13lb whole ribeye. Advice on slicing?

    Guys & gals, Ray's had 1 of their meat sales & I purchased my 1st whole ribeye. What or how is the best way to slice it up into steaks & vacuum seal individual steaks. I don't have any processing equipment, but got lots of knives. Thanks. Any & all help will be greatly appreciated.

    Put a standard light switch back in & then install a wireless ceiling light. Then you can control it thru a remote or your phone.

    Yeah use tooth picks & it will work great. I bet with the tooth pick method you can get a lot more jerky in it. Nice work on the smoker build.

    I am sorry. I should have stated I was using a Bradley puck smoker. I just used the stock racks & hung the "S" off of them. Can you post a pic of your smoker setup. If I got a pic of the inside i bet we can come up with a easy solution. Thanks.

    I personally think you can get 2-3more times the jerky in the smoker by hanging. I bought some heavy stainless wire/filler rod & made a bunch of "S" hooks to hang my jerky from the original smoker racks.

    I like to smoke my burgers for 20-30minutes, then throw them directly over the coals for 3minutes on each side. Fn killer good eats.

    Look for a good running thermoking refrigeration unit off of a reefer trailer. They are diesel powered, but can be converted to a electric with a motor.
