I heard about it this morning on my way into work. Lota guys out here makin rib jokes about me. Wondering if I am going to stick around or after the Q. I really dont like my ribs with Firestone smoke and burnt pine.

Going through the frig yesterday afternoon and found a container of leftover cream cheese from last weekend's ABT's. Hummmmmmm, got the brain juices flowing . Looked around a bit more and low and behold found a container of PP!! Ahaaaa! I felt like that guy that put peanutbutter with jelly...
One of these days I hope to have a smoke like that. I have only recently started "filling up the smoker" with anything and everything!!! Smoked salami slices last weekend just to do it!!!!

A couple of guys at work gave me some RTV. They did caution about the 1st burn that I may have alittle bit of a smell. Did you notice any? I am thinking about using is as a sealer around the SFB door. Squirt is onto the box, let is set up for 15/20 min. slowly lower the door to "custom" fit...
Those ribs look perfect!! ABT's look good, candy looks good, what a way to "break in the big block" any differences besides bigger. How did it smoke??

Had an ECPT (El cheapo pocket therm) go out on me this weekend. It was an Ecko or something like that. It was always 15 degrees off (212 test) and really just pretty poorly made.
Im looking to get another pocket therm as the they are just nice to have for double checkin and sometimes I use...
Thanks Dutch! Made your beans this weekend and they were the best I've ever had. Mrs. Chargriller loved them as well. I could not do them on the smoker as I ran outta room with everything else so I threw em in the oven. The japs and pineapple throw everything together real nice!!
