    That welder should do the job fine with proper skills. When it comes to building offset or reverse flow I am not an expert, but like I said if you start a new thread in the smoker build section you will get lots of help.     If you are already used to using the MES I would go that route if you have time to get one. How far into your smoke were you? If you were half way there you could poach them in 170 degree hot water to internal temp to finish. If you used cure you would probably be O.K. to take them out and...

    I managed a convenience store at a mobile home park for 10 years and had a guy come in three times a day and each time he would buy 2 16oz 800's. By the third trip he was pretty hammered.

    Just read post #18 again JD and he didn't say anything specific on how the collagen casings turned out compared to the sheep casings. I was referring to edibility of them not flavor. Next time I'll be more specific.

    Yeah, mine asked me if I wanted to go to college. I told her no. She asked what I liked to do, my answer was hunt, fish, and go camping. That's when she told me I should join the army or be a forest ranger.

    Mine has leaked a tiny bit of smoke at top center of door since day one. I don't worry about it. Looks like you have condensation in yours. It must be running down the door.

    Axel rose was after my time as a rocker. By then I was back into my country outlaw and Southern rock phase. I'm pretty sure if I had all the brain cells I killed from 1970-1980 I could be a rocket scientist. But my high school guidance councilor said I should be a forest ranger or join the army...

    I drank it back in the early 70's. Had a case of it in my trunk at the prom. I was the most popular guy in the parking lot after the prom. But you haven't been messed up until you have drunk Red Rocket!  Should have been outlawed!
