    Thanks all for the advice!  I splurged on a WSM 18.5".  It's seasoning in the backyard right now.  Gonna rub down some meat tonight, first smoke tomorrow!

    I was looking at that as well.  The CT site has one review, from a guy who's used it once to BBQ steak… I looked at it and it looks solid, but never seen a LG900 to compare it to.  My local COSTCO has a Traeger Century pellet grill right now, at $1099 (I think)… it looks like a very solid unit...

    Hey all - newbie smoker here from Ontario, Canada. Snows gone, and looking to experiment and learn the art of smoking.  I've done some smoking on my charcoal grill in the past, using indirect heat, and a smoker box with wet wood chips. Looking into what smoker should be my first. Cheers
