Thank you for sharing your recipe Kat! I wanted to try to make some. I made applesauce this year and it is about gone already. My two little beauties love that stuff! I plan on making another batch soon, so I will have to do some apple butter then! Yours looks perfect! -Greg
thanks, hllywd! I'll have to experiment with it in my box grill. I see you're from NW Ohio, ever been to the Hot Dog Shoppe in Warren? I love that place!
Thanks for the info. I have a 30" MES analog, and do a lot on my Kingsford box grill, but have never used propane to smoke. May have to pull the trigger and pick up one these!
Nice looking brisket by the way! I've been hesitant to try one, pricey hunk of meat, but I think I am confident enough in my abilities to give it a shot now! Thanks for sharing!

It's a Smoke Hollow 40" LP fired beast of a smoker. I drooled a little when I looked at it.
It made a huge difference for me, I could monitor the temp and not have to open the door to do it, which in turn, lowered the amount of time it takes to cook. Is there many things better than smoking? Me thinks not!
Has anyone modified one of these with an external chip loader? How can I do it without sacrificing heat/smoke? I thought about cutting a hole in the side and installing a chute of sorts with a door. Any tips/suggestions?
