Apple Butter 2013....it's Fall Yall! (10-7-13)

Thank you for sharing your recipe Kat! I wanted to try to make some. I made applesauce this year and it is about gone already. My two little beauties love that stuff! I plan on making another batch soon, so I will have to do some apple butter then! Yours looks perfect! -Greg

Does anyone here own one of these?

Thanks for the info. I have a 30" MES analog, and do a lot on my Kingsford box grill, but have never used propane to smoke. May have to pull the trigger and pick up one these!

    New toy!

Nice looking brisket by the way! I've been hesitant to try one, pricey hunk of meat, but I think I am confident enough in my abilities to give it a shot now! Thanks for sharing!

One more "Mail Box Mod" for the AMNPS and the MES30 ...NEW PICTURES FOR ATTACHING ELBOW TO MAILBOX

Looks like I will be trying this. My MES only has the small hole (1/2" or so) on the back upper right corner. Do you think that is all I need with the mailbox or should I put an exhaust pipe with a damper on the opposite side of the mailbox? PS- Thanks Dave for directing me here. I actually had...

The NHRA does an awesome job at making the entire event all about the fans. There's nothing like being 10' away from those fire breathing beasts when they warm them up in the pit. It's not every race series that allows you to get that up close and have that personal contact with the drivers and...

Saw this at the local Sam's Club. Looks like a good deal at $279, thought I'd ask if they were any good first. It's a Smoke Hollow 40" LP fired beast of a smoker. I drooled a little when I looked at it.

One of the best purchases you can make...

It made a huge difference for me, I could monitor the temp and not have to open the door to do it, which in turn, lowered the amount of time it takes to cook. Is there many things better than smoking? Me thinks not!

One of the best purchases you can make...

Hi, Gary! I believe it is Master Forge, I will have to check. It was right around $25. It is pretty basic and very simple to use.

    My first butt

I smoked them at 235-250. They were so moist and pulled right apart.

    Masterbuilt 20070210 30" Analog mods

Has anyone modified one of these with an external chip loader? How can I do it without sacrificing heat/smoke? I thought about cutting a hole in the side and installing a chute of sorts with a door. Any tips/suggestions?
