Spending my only day off in a month on a 16# brisket, only thing missing is 127944. Planning on a long smoke overnight after she is trimmed up and SPOG'ed. 230-250 is the goal. Starting her up at midnight and will post progress in the am after 6 hours. I want to sleep in lol.

Duck finished and the goat necks were still tough, ended up pulling the duck and into a cast iron with the marinade to crisp it up. Homemade corn tortillas, pickeled onions, cucumber and cilantro. It turned out better than I expected, wifey loved it also. The goat neck...not so much. Needed more...

Happy Sunday Funday all...

it turned out great imo, doing it again I would marinade overnight and possibly smoke at a lower temp but not sure it's needed with the braise. I have older goat as well and believe it would take more time. Thanks for checking up! Give it a shot, I was raised on lamb but may switch to goat after...
Have smoked lamb many of times but never it's leaner cousin the goat, let alone a baby goat around 6 months old.
Had the meat a week prior in Jamaican style curry goat and it was very flavorful, not greasy but enough to warrant a good smoke.
I decided to smoke it using a combo white oak and...
