Thank you guys. Also did corn on the cob n baked potatos. Everything turned out so juicy n smokey. So far super happy with my new smoker! Next weekend gonna be smoking a whole turkey for my landlord! Lol
First time using my smokey mountain smoker. N mother nature is coming down like no other. Luckly I had it going for almost 3 hours before this big rain hit. Wife mentioned. Let's turn the hammock upside down n put the tarp over it...temp went up 10 degrees after we did that lmao. Luckly even...
Just got started myself. Peach wood buried in the charcoal bout 5 pieces. Trying to cook an 8 pound pork butt so gonna take awhile lol. Only challenge I'm really facing. Mother nature freaking hates me. 2nd weekend in a row or decides to rain -.- but I'm not giving up! Put some rolled up foil...

And on another note. Does it have to be plugged In? Or is it battery ran? That's a big concern for me. Dont want to always drag out an extension cord or anything. Plus something else that could just go wrong. That's why I've kept with just a regular charcoal nothing to fancy. No electricity lol...
