Just had goetta for breakfast. Kroger carries it down here in some, but not all, of their stores.... and yes, I've been to Goettafest up in Cinci (well technically, in Newport, KY). Even tried Goetta donuts one time.
Favorite bourbon - Elijah Craig Single Barrel, but of the stuff I get free I prefer Knob Creek for sipping straight and Basil Hayden for making Old Fashioneds.
Favorite scotch - Laphroaig.
I also love JD but it's neither a scotch nor a bourbon.
I went ahead and bought the Masterbuilt cold smoker just now because I could get it for 'free' with reward points from my credit card (so it's not exactly free, but it's not like I had to directly pay for it). Will post a review after some usage.

It's funny you should say that.... after I made it my wife liked it but said "This would probably be better with diced taters instead of rice."
When I was doing my homework I found people in the SC piedmont apparently do use taters instead of rice, but for my first attempt I wanted to use rice...
