Glued,
Is this the suggested route? or is direct upload still ok? I don't want to use up server space unnecessarily so would you rather have hosted pics?
Thanks

Hey Kid,
All I did was wipe down the inside of mine with Veg oil, or you could spray it with Pam then light it. Make sure the chip pan is out, wipe the chip pan down and fill it about halfway with chips then when the smoker gets to 200+ put in the chips and let it smoke out. When the smoke...
Welcome Kid,
From another spudahodian (Boise). You are going to get several different answers on that question. I guess I will go first, Electric are great if they are insulated well. If not they tend to run on the cool side. Charcoal is probably the best I have ever tasted, but I don't have...
These were done at about 2 hours @225 of course the sausage filling was pre-cooked. I have also been doing the armadillo eggs (stuffed with cream cheese, breaded and fried) for years. IMHO ABT's taste better, som may argue but all will admit these are a nice alternative.

AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION ALERT!!! It has been proven that the viewing of particularly tasty q-view increases the colesterol level somewhat but it increases the likelyhood of over consumption of particularly tasty and particulaly unhealthy smoked foods 100,000 %. My cardiologist isgoing to...
Man I hate these admit your stupidity threads. Seems that I not only have plenty of fodder, I just can't resist sharing it..... Took the chip box out of my gasser, had on welding gauntlets but you know what? Just because the smoker is only 225 that chip box is somewhat hotter!! Deep blister...
let us know how it works. Looking at it I would imagine while moving the air you would cool the smoke thereby making it not circulate inside the smoker as it would be heavier and denser than the air in the smoker. The particulate in the smoke would then settle into the bottom of the chamber...
GOOD LORD DUTCH!!!
My first ABT's made me wonder how deprived I have been. Here I am almost 40 and I just had my first ABT's, at least my childeren won't have the same lament!!! These were fantastic! I stuffed them with sausage and cheese and wrapped in bacon. I believe I now know what...
Here is my first stuffed fatty. I gotta say it was fantastic. JD regular sausage 2 diced Japs mixed into the meat. stuffed with cheese and mushrooms seasoned in and out with Tony Cacheres (finally had a cajun friend infom me it is pronounced satch-er-ies not cashiers. I know silly yankee)...
I would love to give some great story about being a sniper or some such romantic reason, but alas (don't know if I should admit this) he was my favorite X-Man, his power was incredible good luck and he threw knives. Pretty lame huh?
Go ahead laugh

I just love the Luhr Jensen Smokers for making jerky. I have only blown one batch in this thing. THis was Venison so kindly donated to me by a better hunter in the family.
