Funny, my last post I was feeling pretty darned high as the king of the smoker....this go around I was eating some humble pie! Oh well, I learn more from my mistakes than successes anyway!

Sorry, the Bird Boobs are in the final shot, they're just not featured very well, they are buried under the ABT's! I also didn't get a good view of them plated........sorry, I'll do my penalty time now!

I just did my first Butt smoke the other day too! I did NOT wrap in tin foil at all and I was very pleased with the very healthy thick flavorful bark! I did baste it every hour or so through the heat control vents on top with a squirt bottle filled with apple juice.

MarshMan: I wish it was homemade slaw....that might be next. I'd love to come up with a good baked bean recipe, then go after slaw. For now, the PP was the only homemade stuff on that plate!
I'm new to cooking really, so I'm just happy my PP turned out edible! (trying some humility!)
