Well this isn't going well. Not sure I am going to be able complete my smoke without taking the ribs into kitchen and throw them in the oven. No, just observing the temp via the control panel and the bluetooth app. It has never done this before. I noticed when resetting the temp that as soon as I hit the temp button it shows 899F. Seems like that is where is trying to head. Don't know if it is the control panel of the thermostat not...- three2one

Twice today while smoking a couple of pork rib racks I have had to reset the temp to 235F. One time when I noticed the temp was at 265F and the other 295F. On the last one I ran an errand for about 45 minutes. Never do that again. So I opened the door for a couple minutes until it cooled down...- three2one

Am I crazy or did the Masterbuilt app go away for iPad?
SonnyE, that is what was driving me crazy to figure out why it wasn't displaying. Seems weird that you have to select a filter to get it to show up. If it is available regardless of which device it should just show up. And why filter only iPhone or only iPad and not both. And why does it show up...- three2one

Am I crazy or did the Masterbuilt app go away for iPad?
Well this is strange. I can search the app store on my iPhone and it shows up, but doesn't show up when I search it on my iPad. Bizarre. EDIT: Just noticed the filter on the upper left of the app store. Supports only iPad doesn't show. Change it to supports iPhone only and it shows up. Even...- three2one

I could have sworn that the app was available for the iPad. I do have it installed on my iPhone, but can't seem to download it for the iPad in the store. Am I crazy or I am just not remembering correctly what devices it is available for?- three2one
