Sounds good Caveman. We could try an experiment. Fill it with beer, throw on a brisket, and see if we could see the bottom of the cooler by the time the brisket is done :)
Well, I guess this could be smoker related. Just think of all the meat I can keep cold in this thing. And I can't even imagine how many cold beers I'll pull out of here while smoking goodies in the smokers.
Just the other day I really started thinking that I needed to try and score a dorm...
That's what the Maverick Et-73 said. Maybe I should check it. Or with all that fat, I wonder if the tip of the probe was stuck in fat, whether or not that would have a bearing on the temp reading??
I bought a whole ribeye a while ago. It was a cheaper no roll, it was only $3.88 / lb. I've had real good luck with the thin sliced "sandwich" cuts.
Thought I'd cook this big boy up on the MES 30".
I brushed it with EVOO and then rubbed with a prime rib rub I make up.
In the water...
Let's say there's 50 houses in your neighborhood. Then lets say 49 of the 50 like to grill/smoke. The true liberal solution would be for the 49 to cease cooking to appease the 1. Heaven forbid the 1 would have to close their window or move.
I'd say save the free food for your other...
thanks for the replies. Maybe I'll get that drill bit and drill out every other or every third hole. If 2 big ones won't fit next to each other anyway, I see no need to drill out every hole. Plus, I'm sure I'll end up with some smaller/medium sized ones as well.
I just bought the King Kooker jalapeno 36 hole rack with corer. But my jalaps get pretty big. I was hoping to find another rack that had larger holes that held less peppers to also have to use. Can't seem to find any. Any suggestions?
I planted several varieties of peppers this year. I didn't want anything too hot. I didn't even get habanero's. But I should have done a little research because I planted a couple Caribbean red hot's which are supposed to be twice as hot as a normal orange habanero. 445,000 Scoville units...
Yeah Caveman. I used Pittsburgh Ultra toner. It is like stain, but is thinner, and goes a lot further. I don't think it would work well for old gray looking stuff, but since these pickets are brand new, it makes them look real nice. It accents the character of the wood and also adds a little...
Nice work! Gotta love the fatties. It's been a while for me. I need to do another one soon. I have a unique idea for one that I don't think I've seen on here yet. Gotta wait til I get a few of the ingredients growing in my garden to try it out.
I haven't had time to do any smoking lately with our 2 month old daughter, and this project I've been working on. I was getting tired of the existing garden fence and wanted something permanent and more visually pleasing
So, for the past couple weeks, I've been slaving away on a new fence...
