That would sure liven this retirement community up a bit. As it is, our neighbor across the street has enough decorations to cover the whole neighborhood. No music though, but I did hear the guy singing Christmas carols as he hung up the lights last night. I thought it was a ghost groaning...
I, too, have added this to my recipes on my computer. I really want to try this one. I love chocolate. Maybe I will make it next week for our friends who are coming for a very late Thanksgiving dinner. (They have been on the road.....trucking.)
Scotty and I are going to the park clubhouse for dinner. The park managers supply the turkey and gravey, everybody else brings something to share. I am taking candied sweet potatoes with marshmellows on top. I love to taste a little of whatever everybody else brings. Might even bag up some...
I'm trying to figure out what I want to take as a side to the clubhouse for the Thanksgiving Day pot-luck. Wish I knew what is provided by the park managers and what everyone else brings. That would make it simpler. I just hate it when several people bring the same thing.
And maybe a little afternoon wine tasting?
BTW, did you ever open that wine we brought you for the smoke-out?
As Dom said, we are up to our ears in brewing several wines right now.
The recipe advised us that poultry does not benefit by slow or low smoking. It says to crank the heat right up to 350 degrees F. The chicken cooked fast enough internally, but doesn't look golden brown and healthy to eat on the outside. We are going to try it again tomorrow. There's another...
We signed up for the dinner at the club house. I just have to decide what to take to share. Turkeys are provided, along with gravey and mashed potatoes. I might do up some candied yams with marshmellows. Not sure yet.

It's okay, the whole park thinks we are a couple of nuts anyway. Its like a morgue here. We have to go over to the RV section for any fun.

Unfortunately, we don't get to see any of the trick-r-treaters, as we live in a 55+ mobile home park. That's another thing I miss about being up North. But my daughter sent me pictures of her "babies" with costumes.
