    Thanks, I did enjoy the outcome, though not a huge soccer fan, I watched because of said niece was a soccer player in High School.....and she no showed for the game....hungover, she can't hang with her ol uncle, damned kids, she'll be here for dinner though

    What's the deal with these beef short ribs?

    Would leaving the silverskin on reduce the shrinkage a bit? I've read that some people leave it on. Just don't know if you would get the as much smoke to the meat, though.

    They don't dry out? cause I got a got a cut up slab in the freezer that I was going to try. I guess i have nothing to lose. Do you smoke/cook for the same amount of time?

    FREE smoker,in ST.Louis area

    A friend of mine wants this unit gone, she says the previous homeowner used it for smoking meats, other than that I know nothing of this unit. But it is FREE, just haul way without tearing up the yard. PM for more info.

    I should mention that it seems to be pretty accurate (the smokers thermo), just by the amount of times I have cooked on it, of course all of them vary. thanks

    Like the title says, I usually only cook one type of meat at a time, but i need something, as , I don't trust the temp gauge on the unit itself (as I don't think anybody does). Thanks!
