Cleaning a Smoke Daddy?
What you have is creosote buld up. They are notorious for it. I spent two weeks working with Dennis the builder on resolving the issue. If you want a thin blue smoke and no creosote run it with the cap off and the pump turned down. I down sized to a small air pump. You will still get more then...- wingman

Dino Bones Again!
After 4 hours in the hot sun prepping my deck for stain I come in to cool of and eat a PB&J and I log in to see this. Good god man your killing me! I look down at my PB&J... look up at your q-view on my HI-RES MONITOR! I hate it when this happens.... Great job on the Dino bones man... -

Best place online to look for a Traeger
Slowerredcivic... Just a recomendation... I know a couple folks who wish they would have spent the additional $100-$150 and upgraded to the Texas. It comes down to affordability though. I own the Texas and ended up buying the now $90 rack to get additional cooking ability. It's nice to have...- wingman

I didn't take this as the builder was getting raked over the coals so to speak. The UDS (BDS) certainly produce great results. His prices are rather high but to each his own. I think there is a smoker for the right price for everyone and allot of folks love the UDS and if some are willing to pay...- wingman

Naked Butt
Give it a try and see what come out of it. Some of the attributes to a tasty bark do come out of the spices (rubs, mustard, brown sugar etc). That said I have nver done one without spices and you never know until you try.
