Smoker names
Tom37, Danson's ate the return shipping costs. I have no idea what that was. The owner of All Things BBQ (the dealer) was pissed at them and he is building me a custom whole hog Pellet cooker of the same size but using 1/4" steel as he does in his Yoder builds. Smoker names
The only time I give my smokers, names is if they break on me. All names then mostly contain 4 letters unless I take them to 2 syllables. That is too cool Ron! Congrats. You know, Yoshidas is a great sauce for allot of different foods. You can imagine! I really like it as a finish sauce on Beef Jerky just before i place it in the bag to do in the refrigerate. It's awesome!- wingman

Large Image formats slowing down Performance
IMHO... I always try and size images so "all" the older browsers can handle them. When you re-size to a 800x600 or 1024 x 768 they should be plenty large to see and be of great quality. Now days with the new browsers even if you do upload a 3 MB large format file the browser will automatically...- wingman

Large Image formats slowing down Performance
I noticed the forum is accepting large size and weighted images without down sizing etc. If the forum does not down size and compress there are going to be degradations in performance and increase in operational costs. I hit one post today that had 4 3+ MB pics in it. That 12 MB page was a slow...- wingman

This happened to me as well 30 minutes ago. There is another post from abigale?? and she experienced the same issue. As an IT professional by trade, I recomend not clicking on cancel or anything as they remap the controls in those dialogue boxes so when you clcik the cloase, cancel controls it...- wingman

AVG antivirus popped up while browsing SMF
I had one of those Virus alert popups that was not from my McAfee virus scanner pop up from this site 30 minutes ago. It was one of those that imulates scanning your drives for viruses and reports a bunch found. It wan't you to click "OK" to remove them. I pulled up Task manager and killed the...- wingman

Injector help please
I have used many of them out there and thats because most didn't hold up. I have found that a good stainless steel injector with large finger and thumb holes works well and holds up great. I really like the clear ones because you can see that you have them full of flavor and not 1/2 full of air...- wingman

New Platform - What do you think?
I just did some testing with browser versions. The images should resize and view normally in IE 7 and IE 8 and Mozzila (Firefox) 5.0+. Those running older versions will have the issue. I can for sure say IE 6 and lower have the issue where they will diplay the full size pic with scroll bars...- wingman
