    First pulled pork

    Just a little port butt - 2lbs , smoking away on my modded ECB. So far 3 hrs and all is good. Seems my smoker likes to cruise at 270. Just hitting the stall and since I have a lot of time will wait it thru. Pics to follow!

    Hi All, Just completed the mods on a master forge (ECB). Have already smoked some thighs and ribs when mods were in progress and will going for pulled port Saturday. Plan on using lump coal and the minion method. Any other tips?

    Picked up a master forge charcoal vertical smoker. Did the ECB mods out of the box and a quick fire for a couple of chicken thighs! Need to go back and redo some new dampers - aluminum used a little too thin!
