    Temp jumped up to 340 on me. Hoping I can get it back down before disaster strikes haha. Live and learn. At least I'll only be out 6 bucks if it goes south. Will post QView regardless

    Bought a 10 lb bag of quarters and brined them in saltwater, some garlic, 3 bay leaves, and some lemon juice. Seasoned with SPOG, paprika, and a little sugar. Gonna smoke around 290-300 and see what happens.

    I'll definitely post Qview Disco. Good or bad haha. That sounds good Tuscon. I wouldn't mind one day just doing an all veggie smoke to try different kinds. Saw a post earlier with asparagus, so I have to try that now.

    Rubbed these yesterday and let them sit overnight in the fridge. Put on the smoker at 10 AM. Ready to go in the cooker 2 Hours in Smokin'

    WSM vs. Char Griller Akorn

    I appreciate it guys. I've researched both smokers and they both seem to have good feedback. I believe I'm gonna get the Akorn because of its heavy weight and ability to grill. Thanks again for the input! Logan
