Just put on some chicken halves seasoned with a sweet and smoky rub. My Cajun Injector electric smoker only goes to 275, so I'm gonna have to crisp the skin under the broiler. I think they're gonna turn out nicely. Pics to follow.
I'm pretty sure my smoker has the bars to the left of the chip box like the MES does. I have seen photos of the other CI smokers that have a small grate next to the box.
I have a Cajun Injector electric smoker and am looking to smoke a whole turkey soon. My smoker has a max temp of 275. I'm curious about any rubs and wood types that are recommended. Also, I'd like to know about the approximate cook time per pound at 275. ANY ADVICE is greatly appreciated! Thanks...
I got it. It does a great job cooking at very high or low temps and holds heat really well. It's a solid smoker/grill. I think you'll be happy with it.
Thanks oldschool! Definitely going with a lower temp next time, but I was not disappointed with the taste. Never satisfied though. It can always get better.
