Yup, just got back from the store and you read my mind,,,,,,,,,change it this way change it that way.........nah I said to myself in front of the soup aisle, do it his way first then modify. <GRINS> I might change it around a bit next time, don't want to turn it into a chowder, but even some...

I need a miracle rub for ribs...

I also recommend Jeffs rub, I use it on 85% of smoking goods that I do...... So make up 2 batches of Jeffs rub, one 8 stars hot, one 2 stars hot, and do up a couple racks of ribs, one for the heat eaters, one for the old geezers. Most old people also don't eat very large portions, so keep that...

dang i got some rep power!! don't know how

Rep should be tied to quality, and peoples acknowledgement of superiour posts. If this board just weighs is on post count, then some post whore can come in and blabber on all day about nothing, not contribute nothing, and seem like a good bloke and creative genius at the end of the day...

We'll drag the details out of him yet.......and nope, I didn't see spagetti sauce mentioned anywhere in the post but here goes my psychic recipe. I'm guessing a quick 20 minute smoke on the shrimp. I'd go heavy on the smoke in that short a time. take shrimp and add to heavy cilantro / garlic...

    Ribeye Steak W/ QVIEW

Actually, that is a REALLY good method of cooking the steaks. A slow smoke, then a quick sear even with the flames seals in the juices. Nah, you didn't "save it" you cooked it just right. With the rib-eyes especially, sooooo much fat in them they tend to flare up more than a newyork or...

Jumbo Scallops, bacon wrapped and blackened Cajun

You know, good food, prepared well, is SO YUMMY! Thanks all. I LOVE MY CAST IRON PAN on a side burner of the BBQ.........maybe 5% of people use their side burner and cast iron........... The Cast Iron holds the heat!!!!!!!!! sear it, not burn it!

    Frozen Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

Oh yes........skinless chicken breasts are awesome, smoked or grilled........ My best method is in a tumbler basket on a rotisserie, THICK slice some sweet white onions and add to the basket. You can even thaw the chicken breasts and slice into long thick fish stick shapes 1" x 1" x 4-5" to...

Jumbo Scallops, bacon wrapped and blackened Cajun

I love my seafood, thats for sure. On todays menu, is Cast Iron pan BBQ side burner seared bacon wrapped jumbo scallops, and blackened Cajun Scallops. To get the cast iron pan lubed up, cook up a pound of peppered bacon, just 1/2 cooked through not cripsy. Take the bacon and bamboo sticks...
