So I am almost done having my new smoker built, but I cant seem to find a proper thermometer anywhere. what kind of thermometer would do the same work that I might find here? Meat thermometer? probe? what?

Although Currently trying to start some small business in the Philippines. I am in my 20s yes, but BBQ is in my blood. My grand dad was cajun and I guess my dads cousins are scattered all over the south. Hope to visit them someday and swap recipes.
also, I have been reading, and I found out that there are some species of oak in the Philippines. If anyone has any knowledge on that, it would be much obliged.
does anyone know where to buy thermometers in manila? im building a custom rig and cant seem to find restaurant supply stores or proper equiptment anywhere. also, if anyone can point me in the right direction for pork butts and brisket purveyors.
Eattruth... well im big on eating animals and produce that is raised without hormones and is let out of cages to run free. A happy pig is a tasty pig. I am all for local sustainable organic and seasonal. I like to eat truthful honest food.
I currently live in Seattle wa, and I use a coverted grill smoker. I love building smokers and cooking. I will be moving to the Phillipines in January and smoking meats and such there as well. I love building unique smokers and creating new bbq recipes.
