Well that makes me sad... I liked the whole "someone you are watching may not even win" aspect of it. But still, the rib boiler makes me sadder.
I've got a buddy that uses the GOSM and loves it. I have not read up much on propane smokers but just thought I'd drop that in.

No, I have the same problem with feed bags too.
Sometimes you pull the string and it works... mostly not.
sometimes they have that little strip you pull and it is supposed to pull the string out... sometimes that works but mostly not.
Most of the time I just say screw it and cut the bag open...

I would say good find at $25 if the box isn't too rusted thru.
I bet the first thing to tick you off will be the wheels unless he fixed them.
Mine fell off anytime I moved it more than 3 inches in a straight line. haha
All in all, I love this smoker.
Myth, ever since I switched to using a water pan I quit spritzing.
I personally could not tell a difference between the ribs with or without the spritz when a water pan is in use.
But without the water pan, it was a world of difference to spritz.
If you have a water pan, spritzing will not...

Meatloaf looked delicious, I havvn't been able to talk my wife into letting me smoke one of hers yet. Soon hopefully!
I have them in the coldest part of the fridge wrapped really well. Plans were to smoke them tonight, but my daughter ended up having a softball game tonight so I will have to do them tomorrow.
Unless anyone can give me some info on the mustard ruining the meat somehow I will give them a go...
I smoked up four racks of spares this weekend that I trimmed up St. Louis style.
I did not have room on the smoker for the trimmings, but the trimmings have already been slathered and rubbed.
It has been 2 days are they still good to smoke? Or should I trash them? How long will these last...
