    First Moinks AND first Q-view

This is basically the recipe that Jeff sent out in Dec's newsletter.  However, I made just a couple adaptations and they came out great.   2lbs ground chuck 2lbs ground pork 25 cubes of colby jack cheese 3 eggs 1/2c bread crumbs 1/2c of my BBQ rub 25 pieces of thick cut bacon (cut in half...

    Lump Charcoal v/s briquettes...

I used to use Kingsford as well, but I found that lump is the only way to go.  I use Ozark Oak.  It does burn hotter, but it is just wood, and that's it.  No fillers/binders to alter flavor.  I combine it with wood chunks and come out with great results.  I think that arguments can be made for...

I have an OLD Brinkmann Charcoal smoker.  The door is really small to refill the charcoal pan (annoying).  How would be the best way to go about converting it to a cold smoke smoker?

Low & Slow - Gary Wiviott

Read it from my local library.  It is a great read.  Ironic thing is that I am writing about it on a 'bbq forum' when he discourages getting advice from forums.
