When I started playing with with the silly gas. I learned several hard lessons about advertised Octane. Luckily I'm SBC guy so replacement parts were cheaper. LoL
Amaco white 98-99 octane, Sunoco blue 100-105, Pink 104-108. Then at the time could get aviation fuel in the 115 range.
Had to pick up/pump in jugs. Not allowed to pump directly in vehicle!
Really helped when playin with laughing gas. LoL
Needs a very good compressor to drive it.
My 10hp Curtis couldn't keep up continuously.
@sandyut If own home and have a place to store a PW. Buy the biggest you can it'll serve you well.
I do both. I pull the membrane and add anything hot I want on that side. Meat side I like SPG and will add some paprika for color at times. I like a dry rib so I spritz and only wrap for the rest.
