    I have shredded chicken many times for taco's... Smoked whole chickens, let cool to shred, mixed with my homemade taco seasonings in pan on stove to give a mexi taste. I also have made a big batch of tortilla soup with smoked chicken, and the leftover chicken in the soup has the best flavors...

    Butts at Sams

    My Sam's wasn't anywhere near that price on butts. I did get two shoulder blade roasts (butts) at winco for .78 a pound. Will pick up a couple of more before it goes off sale. Wanted to wait till the two in fridge in cure to finish first. Matt aka Rocky

    what was said above... especially from DDave. I am curious, what are you using and where are you taking your reading for smoke temps? If you are using the built in thermo's... maybe you aren't getting a good reading... Heat rises, and if you are reading where the thermo's are in the picture...
